Crazy, great week!

So – I have so many great things to be thankful for this week!

on the Kimmi front – She got 3 teeth, figured out how to climb down the stairs and…

drumroll please…

SHE STARTED WALKING!

She was 9 and a half months yesterday – Megan was 10 months and Kait was 9, so she is just in between them.

That’s pretty exciting.

I got some gorgeous yarn this week – Candy ass from Politically incorrect yarns – gorgeous!

I also got 2 balls of sock yarn from Thank Ewe – very generous balls – over 500 yards. I don’t know what I’m going to do with those yet – maybe not socks.

 

I also scored a worm wallet at Walmart for only $5 – it’s for storing my knitting needles.

It’s been an all around great week!

 

A new path

I made a big decision yesterday about my path in sobriety.
I know I made the right decision because I am feeling the light of the spirit today – you know the one – the warm fuzzy glow that makes you want to giggle.
I decided ( after talking it through with my sponsor!)that I am going to quit going to my rehab program. It was great for me unti it wasn’t. I have been feeling this week that I am being called to newcomer and H+I work.
I’ve already signed up for teleservice and I’m going to put my name on the sponsor list at the treatment center where I have my sunday morning meetings.

I am so glad that I am one of the lucky “Sometimes Faster” types.

I’m dead…

So… I’m dead. I got killed yesterday by a gorgeous hunter/forest green wool hat. I love it! I also got some flower seeds and a dove pin. Lynette did a great job and is a really sweet person to boot. Too bad she’s an assassin.

She kind of got the short end of the swap for various reasons, and DH suggested that I try to make up for her assassin. I’m thinking of the Irish hiking scarf from helloyarn.com.
